If you’re new here, hello! I’m Laura, a 41-year-old divorced mom of three awesome humans. I’m a self-proclaimed foodie. I love sharing a meal with someone over a good conversation where we both walk away better people. I love being outside, taking pictures, gardening, and long walks in Home Depot. This is starting to sound like my dating profile.
I have struggled with the whole “self-love” thing, my entire life. I watched my own mother struggle with herself, but it wasn’t until I saw my daughter struggle, that I realized how low my own was.
When did this happen?
I started this blog with the intent of sharing my story with the world, in hopes it can help others as well. I have committed myself to practice my own affirmations, to be inspired by inspiring others. I am a strong, happy, healthy, sexy, confident, woman; not defined by any one title.
I have learned an incredible amount since starting this journey seven years ago, after the birth of my youngest daughter, losing my job – and my mother, unexpectedly. The goal was to get healthy, but it’s grown to be so much more than that. Through years of soul searching, therapy, self-exploration, and adventure I have put those self-loving words into action and embraced the chance to reinvent myself. Each day starts with a new beginning. A chance to reinvent yourself and have a positive impact on the people around you. Words mean nothing, without the action backing them up.
I am excited to work with you, and help you find your light and abundance. You are so worthy of everything you desire.
Thinking of you, and sending you love.
